For two years I've had a high Ra factor and August I had a positive Ana with a titer of 1:320 . I've always had my Ana tested and it always come back negative. Now two weeks ago. A new Dr retaken the test and my Ra factor has lowered andy Ana is negative. I've seen three rheumatologist and they've all said false positive. So can I just breathe and not worry. I had all the followup test like the antismith and all cand all came back negative. The only issue I've had/have is a thyroid issue (hypo) but I've been taken off of thyroid meds for a year and the Drs say I don't have it. But I feel terrible. I'm 24 and trying to figure out why I feel so bad and have for the last four years.

ANA can rise and fall that is why a rheumy uses the 11 indicators of lupus guide lines to diagnose lupus. You need to meet 4 of the 11 to have it. Positive ANA is one of the 11.
Have you seen the list? It's located in the thread "lupus 101". If you feel like you have the symptoms find a different rheumy. Sometimes it takes time to get diagnosed.
Lupus, RA, Fibromyalgia, Glaucoma, Asthma, Hypothyriodism, Sleep Apnea, Depression, Allergies, and benign familia tremors

When life throws you lemons....
Pick them up and throw them right back at them! :))
