Before I do too much research on Dr. Google, as I'm prone to do, has anyone heard of autoimmune disorders messing with your nail beds? I'm getting red arches near the tips of my fingers under my nail beds and they feel kind of sensitive. I probably noticed it a week ago but they seem to be getting more pronounced.

I've had my nails to get inflamed like that before. It lasts a few days for me. If it gets too painful call your rheumatologist.

It's not necessarily painful- just feels tender I guess. I'll keep my eyes on it for now. Just add to the long list of strange things that have happened since I started to feel sick.

Yes. I have this. I have not been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease but have seen a rheumotologist because of a positive ANA and swollen ligaments in all my fingers. I go back next month for a recheck. I am an author, so the fingernail thing is driving me buggy. It hurts when I type, and I have had to trim all my nails really short so as to not put pressure on the nail beds. about two weeks after I noticed the nail thing, I started showing symptoms of Raynaud's. I was diagnosed with that last week. Sure makes life interesting and colorful. I can't offer any helpful advice. Just wanted you to know you aren't alone.
