You should talk with your rheumy about
this, it may be that your Lupus is flaring despite the Cellcept. Cellcept doesn't work for everyone, and they need to check your blood inflammation markers to see if something is still flaring. Maybe you would get better results with Imuran or MTX - it's a mystery which of these 3 will work for which Lupus patient.
Alternatively, "problems with vision, speech, balance, or memory"
are listed among the potential side effects of Cellcept, which require a Dr's attention. So maybe you are having a bad reaction.
I have to say that I had pretty much lost my mind to serious cognitive dysfunction, measurable IQ decline (ie, more than just fog) and my 18 months on Cellcept gave me back my brain and put my Lupus into a "quiet" phase. (Rheumies generally don't use the word "remission".) Pretty much the opposite to what you are experiencing.
Please chat with your Dr, it really doesn't sound like this is the medication for you. Hope you feel better soon.
