ion doesn't sound like the Vasculitis I've heard of. Have you seen a rheumy? Is your derm suggesting any treatment?
The differences between Rosacea and Lupus rash: Rosacea responds to treatment, it often has small red pimples and fine lines, and is irregularly shaped. Lupus rash is a smooth red, doesn't respond to Rosacea treatment, and is wolf or butterfly shaped, across the nose & upper cheeks. They both react to heat and hot foods.
