Lyme disease has been implicated as being a cause of Lupus. Lyme is in my blood and it may be in yours. The Canadian Blood Services Agency does absolutely no testing of donor blood when they take donated blood from the public. This has to stop. We need every vial of donor blood tested for Lyme.

Lyme disease, also known as borrelia, is implicated in Lupus and also in the following diseases:

If you go to that site and click on any disease selected, you will be able to read a published medical report how Lyme is implicated in that disease. Please sign our petition to get our blood tested here in Canada. Click on the site below to get to the petition, please sign it, and please forward it to your circle of friends so that this petition gets the most exposure and thus catches the eyes of our medical establishment and our government.

Don't believe everything you read.

Lyme has NOT been identified as a cause of Lupus. Neither the CDC (Center for Disease Control) nor the NHS (National Health Service) subscribe to that idea. And the Lupus Organization and the College of Rheumatology don't believe that either.
