Hi Everyone. I just wanted to give you my update. My PC placed me one a stronger prescription iron and it's working great! My hemoglobin is not 11.0 and I feel so much better. Now I'm not short of breath, have energy, and I'm thinking a little more clearly. Also my last endoscopy showed that my stomach ulcer is healing. Yea!

Of course I still have my two infusions each month (I had Benlysta yesterday and will have IVIG next Sunday) and I have my usual lupus symptoms of pain and fatigue, but I can deal with that. For four months I was so sick that my hubby had to drive me to every doctors appointment, every procedure, and a few trips to the ER for fluids, and I spent days in bed. Now I feel well enough to drive, run a few errands, and best of all I can work in my patio garden. I hope all of you are seeing improvements too! Love, Butterflake

That's great, Butterflake!

As they say, "Better living through chemistry" - but it only works with the right chemistry! Glad they've found a better treatment for your iron & that your stomach ulcer is healing!
