Bitten by the spam filter again. I understand what the forum admin is trying to prevent but I often reply to multiple posts and do so quickly and am penalized for doing so. If this continues I will just not post in the future after 10 years posting here.

Would suggest modification of the settings if possible. If my posts were all identical I could understand the block but when each is different and pertains to the subject.... I am a computer engineer and am aware that the WWW is pretty much a digital wild, wild west but this filter is more controlling than need be in my opinion.

MCTD (SLE Lupus, polymyositis, scleroderma). Diagnosed 2005. Kidney, liver, GI tract, dysphagia, raynauds, barretts esophagus, quadriplegic in 2005. Recovered and now active in downhill skiing, golf, hiking. Meds: amlodipine, benezapril, omeprazole, potassium, folic acid, vitamins, maxide.

Remain Optimistic and you can overcome.

You can lodge your complaint directly with the website owner, Peter Waite, at

However, if you were a moderator and came on and found PAGES, yes, PAGES of spam posts in multiple forums you would understand the logic and wisdom behind the timing filter. We've tried multiple defenses and this is overall the most effective. Peter is planing on a total software rewrite later this year where he can implement other anti-spam measures that aren't able to be used with this version of the software.
