If you are wondering about
Lupus, even after seeing the rheumy, I suggest you go back to the rheumy and get the additional tests to put your mind at rest.
However, I'm not sure what additional tests he was referring to -- Lupus is diagnosed by having 4 of 11 symptoms and a "test" (generally they mean a positive ANA) is only one of the symptoms -- you can have Lupus with or without a positive ANA.
Sometimes life isn't about
the diagnosis as much as it is about
the treatment. Did this Dr propose any treatment(s) to make you feel better? Did he think another kind of Dr would be better positioned to treat you?
As I'm sure you know, "myalgia" just means you have muscle pain, it is a symptom not a diagnosis.
