Feeling rough as hit hard by skin rash vey painful and extreme knee pain in oth knees and hip bone.

Applied Bengay ?

Don't have prednisone.

What can help me .

My flare is due to extreme emotional upsets.

Don't put Bengay on rashes, but it could help other places.

You need to find a way to vent those stressors. I see a therapist who helps me cope with the frustrations of chronic pain and illnesses. She keeps me on an even keel, so I don't trigger flares.

Sorry you are going through such a rough flare. Try some warm baths with relaxing music so you can try to destress. Stress is the hardest emotion to manage. As far as rashes, my doc has told me to try over the counter creams to relieve it.

Hope you feel better.

Hi Cilly. I've been having terrible pain. Mostly my right hip, but also knee. I have prescription meds and can't take NSAIDS. When I could take them I liked Excedrin during the day, Arthritis Tylenol at night with warm-hot bath and lots of epsome salts in the water. I like lavender scented salts. Heating pads help quite a lot and Bengay helps some. My PC suggests over the counter Cortisone cream for my rashes that flake.

I just started a prednisone taper which is why I'm up at almost 4:00am. I liked Excedrin which contains caffeine, but Arthritis Tylenol works surprisingly well for me. I hope it gives you some relief Sweetie. Love, Butterflake
