I could get into a check-in. It could be as simple as, "today I met my food goals", or a smiley face or frown, or as complex as we want to go.
My food goal: clean protein, veggies, and fruit only. No sugar, soft drinks, pre-fab foods, white carbs, diary.
Today: I've already done poorly. No breakfast (which for me is a clear sign that the rest of the food day will go poorly), soft drink, salad, and pizza for lunch. At least the salad was healthful.
My hardest meal: Lunch. Breakfast I've almost trained myself to have protein & fruit. Dinner is w/friend. But eating alone at lunchtime is difficult and where I most often slip.
And note -- most of us are on, or have been on, prednisone. Prednisone messes with our metabolisms, making us susceptible to "pre-diabetes", etc. Increases out cravings for these foods that make us feel bad.
