Hello. I have had Lupus for about 7 years and I need some help from the community.

I’ve had random patchy red/purple rash’s happen over the years on my face and chest but about 2 weeks ago I’ve broken out in a whole new kind of rash.

It started as small 1/6” small red ‘dot/spot’ rashes on my neck. Within the last 2 weeks it continues to spread. Now on my chest, back, stomach and has even spread to my arms today.

My GP is away on a medical leave. I contacted my Rheumatoid Spec. and she said ‘I’m not. Dermatologist”

I’ve been to two care clinics who don’t know what it is. I tried Benadryl and also was prescribed Taro-Mometasone Crm and both did nothing.

Does anyone have any information or experience they could share. Feeling really frustrated

Thank you!
Cate

Too bad your rheumatologist is so unresponsive. I guess you will have to check in with a dermatologist - there are some that are more familiar with auto-immune diseases than others, but they are hard to locate unless you are in a big city.

Assuming it doesn't itch, since you didn't mention it. Has anything in your environment changed? Changes in medications, laundry soap, bath soap, extra gardening (sweat), changes in food, etc?

Sorry not to be able to help more,
