I don't know that much about
drug-induced Lupus, but I have read that it takes at least 6 months after stopping medication for the symptoms to go away. The symptoms you mention are very common with Lupus. Pain daily, esp. joint/tendon/muscle pain, is also very common due to the inflammation from Lupus. If it's decreased to almost nothing by 10 mg of prednisone your Dr might consider giving you 10 mg for a longer period of time.
Other things that control Lupus inflammation are Imuran, Cellcept, and MTX, but those are generally given for full-blown Lupus and take a while to have effect. I don't know if they are appropriate for drug-induced Lupus that would be expected to be of shorter duration in the first place.
Let us know how it goes!
