Hello lovely forum people.
I usually reside in the UC forum.
Will keep it short!
Over the past year, I’ve had two spells of unusual symptoms, tingling, numbness, dizziness, muscle aches, sporadic joint pain and hair loss, moderate Raynauds, predominantly in my left foot. (But have had this before UC diagnoses)
I have had a huge amount of blood tests, at different times, and ive had head and neck mri.
All of the above has come back clean, so to speak.
My UC consultant doesn’t feel my meds should cause any of the above. As they are low dose and bottom end spectrum for IBD.
But my consultant is now testing me again for lupus. Think I’m having another ana, anticoagulant something test.
I don’t have a rash, or lots of “obvious“ lupus sypmtoms.
I might add these symptoms aren’t on going. I’ve just had the two episodes.
Not sure if I’m worrying unnecessarily. And maybe I should be grateful my words have been listened to.
Would lupus be likely if it comes and goes like this?
Many thanks for any advice or opinions.
