Hi Stacie. I've been taking celebrex twice a day for a couple of years. My internist put me on it before I was diagnosed with SLE. I also still take arthritis tylenol 2-3 times a day and when the pain is really bad I take neurontin. I saw my rheumy (whom we both know) week before last. He asked why I don't take neurontin daily and I said I developed a tolerance before and want to save it for the bad times. BTW, rheumy increased my methotrexate from 10mg to 15mg. He also prescribed a cane and gave me a handicap parking authorization, so he's on my good list now. I hope you can get the pain under control. Pain sucks.
