Carol, I do have RLS and Hippi described it precisely. My legs don't hurt, but sometimes they drive me batty with the feeling of bugs crawling under my skin and I cannot, I mean cannot keep them still. It has driven my ex-husband and my hubby both crazy because I wiggle them at night, awake and asleep. I take something for it.

What you have described doesn't resemble my RLS. I'm glad you got a call from your doc and think you're on the right track.

Gosh Patty that sounds horrible. I hope ya have a king size bed! I'm surprised they didn't make you sleep on the couch! I'm sorry I'm just messing with ya. Wow you sound like you have some terrible problem with it. I'm so sorry. ((((patty)))). Thanks for sharing your experience. What is going on with me is nothing like that. Ocassional when i dose off I jump what feels like 10  ft. off the bed. It's like a feeling of catching myself falling. it's weird but it's nothing like what you go through. Man you must not get very good sleep.

I hope your medicine helps

thanks again love ya

Hi Carol,
I hope your legs are feeling better by now. I have RLS and agree with Pat. It can be a creepy crawly feeling, tightness, or antzy type feeling in your legs mostly when laying down at night. It can drive you crazy! I have had this since I was about 23 years old. I took Klonopin for years with some relief and it stopped working completely. Now I take Mirapex and it does wonders for mine.
Let us know what you find out. Take care and know that I do keep reading although I'm not posting much. You continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
