So much for calling rhuemy about prednisone! The rhuemy who is filling in for her told me she would be back this week but guess what she's not back until next tuesday! I am so sick of dealing with these morons! What ever happened to doc's that actually cared about patients? The good thing is I'm feeling better. I will just have to learn to live with the rib pain. I don't dare call my pcp, if he see's I've lost more weight he might make me go to hospital & I really am feeling better. I just go through spells of being sick to my stomach. Dealing with these heartless doc's has just about got me to the point of not asking her for something else, I'll just tough it out!

Oh no, that's frustrating about your rheumy - I'm sure you were looking forward to getting some help and some relief. Is the doc who is covering for her not comfortable helping you through this? I don't know that you should have to wait a week with that pain. It's good that you are starting to feel better but it sounds like you still have a lot of health issues going on. Don't tough it out if it gets too bad. I know you don't want to go into the hospital, but it's better to play it safe. Hang in there and I hope things keep improving for you. Take care

Bh,

I'm sorry to hear about the rheumy mess! I agree with hippi about not toughing it out if it gets too bad. Keep us updated and take care. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks girls. If it gets too bad I will do something. The rhuemy who is feeling in for her told me I was on long term meds so the prednisone would help, so I don't know what the problem was. I have been brushed off by so many docs that I'm use to it. Almost every doc I've seen says sle but none of them would back it by giving me meds they would just want to pass me on to another doc or make me lay in misery until it showed up in blood work.
