Veronica it definitely sounds like you are getting somewhere with this doctor and I agree it sounds like she thinks you have something autoimmune going on. I hope after you get your labs back you will have some more answers. Keep us updated on what you find out with your labs. Thank you all and I will.

Have you ever gone to a dr and the first they see they run test?

Yes, the first time I saw the rheumy he ran tests. To me, that makes perfect sense -- If I'm there, I must think something is wrong, and they want to prove/disprove it as soon as possible, so they run tests immediately. Infinitely better than the docs who immediately say it's all in your head and never run tests! Sounds like you've stumbled across a good doctor!!! Hey Veronica, I'm so glad you have a proactive doctor this time. They are hard to come by. I hope your tests give you some answers. I don't want you to get too frustrated if they don't come back the way the doctor expects. Tests can somtimes be very deceiving. They can change considerably from one time to the next. I just hope this time is the time where things are happening and they start getting you on the right meds.
about your neighbor. that sounds about right. I told my mom my tests have come back that I am anemic and she said Yeah I've said all my life I was anemic that's my excuse for being tired all the time! I learned not to discuss this with her. That's why I come here and can be around people that understand.

God Bless
