You might consider checking with a dermatologist or with a primary care physician, if its possible to see them sooner.
It can't cross the bone barrier into the brain (at least as far as I know), so it's probably not an emergency, but if it's growing (esp. if growing rapidly) I'd have it checked by a dermy sooner rather than later.
