Oh, Carol, this is the last thing you needed. I agree with everyone about calling your doc. With all of the health issues you have you don't want to let this get too bad. Please take good care of yourself and know that you have many people here thinking of you, praying for you and sending lots of positive thoughts your way. I hope this doesn't hang on too long for you. Carol,

Now you take care of yourself! Listen to all the folks here trying to Mother you. Please do call your doc (listen to Hippi and des) rest and drink fluids (listen to Stacie and Babs). You know we all love you and want you to feel better.

If I don't hear from you tomorrow, I'll give you a call hoping to find you snoozing on the couch with Taco dog, not in the hospital!

I got a break in the action for a second here. 85 year old Mother with dementia is asleep in a chair in the sitting room and 86 year old Father who is blind is pretending to listen to CNN on the couch but he's asleep too!

(Oh, and Darlene's suggestion is good too, I used to drink a lot of ginger tea when I had a bad stomach, her post and mine crossed so I postedited)

Luv and hugs to all,
Sue

Carol, The sun was out for you today and I hope you've started to recover enough to enjoy it. I also hope and pray that this bug doesn't last very long. You certainly don't need this after all you've been through. I hope your depression has lifted, but living alone and being so sick, I know it's hard to keep up your spirits. We're all here thinking of you and awaiting your happy return.

Please take care.

Love

Pat

Hi everyone, please forgive me for not responding to you all individually. I dont think I have the energy for that quite yet. It's 4:00 am. I have been doing alot of sleeping so my clock is off. I have my fingers crossed that today will be a turning point. My temp has been running about 101 but it was just a little over 100 last night. It's amazing how that 1 degree difference can make ya feel like you got hit by a truck. This almost feels like the first time I knew I had a flare. Muscle aches, fever, exhausted, chills. I've been having bloody noses too. I actually read something the other day about bloody noses occure when you are starting to flare. ????????. I have gotten alot of those though. I think mine are more from my 02. As long as I don't move around I do ok, but my lungs are so full of crap I can't walk from one room to another with out getting shakey. coughing up this green cottage green looking stuff. I'm drinking lots of water though. people from church have made me soup. My brother keeps coming over. He's on stand by if I need to go to the hospital. But I am already depressed. I really don't want to do that. I will go if I have too. When my breathing gets that bad it scares me enough to get me there. I have to watch out for CHF so I weigh myself couple times a day. I havn't really eating anything in 4 days and havn't lost a lb. but my fingers aren't swollen so I think i'm ok. I'll just force myself to drink more water today. The fever could be making me not pee as much. Well I guess I'll go back in the bedroom and smoke a pack of cigerettes yeah LOL just kidding.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Hopfully I'll be back on in a couple of days.

love ya all

carol

Carol, I'm so sorry to hear that things are still pretty bad for you. That is good news about your temp starting to come down though. I'm glad you have people checking in on you, especially with the breathing problems. I'm wondering if someone should take you to the doctor tomorrow with all the stuff you are coughing up to make sure you don't have pneumonia. You'll continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Please continue to take it easy and take good care of yourself. Carol, Hippi makes a good point. If you do in fact have pneumonia, you need to be on something right away. What you have could also be bacterial and you'll want to know that too. Although it's a good sign that your temp is coming down, I hope you can see the doctor tomorrow.

It breaks my heart to hear you sounding so sick and I do hope you start to turn the corner. You're doing the right thing by sleeping a lot. Rest, rest, rest, and drink lots of fluids.

Love,

Pat
