Hi, Carol, I hope you have a great trip but please be careful about the sun. I made sure I was under an umbrella or in the shade when we went to Florida this year. I also wore 30 SPF and I still got some suntan. If you want to cheat a little on that, try out Jegens cream for the face and the body. It does a great job of giving you the tan look without breaking the bank of causing a lupus flare! Have fun!
Prayers,
Audrey Ann

Have a wonderful trip, Carol. Rest when needed regardless of what others say or think. Health comes first. Remember if you overdo it on one day, you'll pay for it over two days. I hope everythings goes well. I'll be thinking of you and keeping you in my t's and p's.

xoxo emmie

Enjoy your trip. Be careful when under the sun and apply lots of sunblock.

Hi Carol,

The weather here in Mesa is starting to cool a little ( at least below 110 degrees ). When I go in the pool, it is usually in the morning or late afternoon (by then you'll need to cool off) and always wear a hat in the pool. I also usually wear an extra t shirt over my swim suit. That helps me a lot. Also, don't forget about bringing your frozen icewater when you leave the house. It is starting to dry out here again, hopefully that will help with the pain. Feel free to contact me if you need anything.

Love,

Denise

Hi, Carol. You're probably already done checking in here since you'll be leaving in the morning. Just wanted to say that I hope you have fun, but be smart! You know how to take care of yourself. We will all be waiting to hear about all your great times when you get back! I'll probably be living vicariously through you again, so please be descriptive! Take care, you'll be missed!

Dear Carol,

I haven't been on in awhile ,but you and everyone have been in my prayers and thoughts. I am glad you are able to take a trip I hope you are having a great time...

Everyone who knew my husband and I were split up we are back together and he in not drinking now and attending counseling and AA so we will see how it goes I would appreciate all your prayers. I

I am having a lot of trouble with my legs ( diabetic neuropathy ) and I had a MRI done last February which showed that my lumbar spine is narrowing and I think this is adding to my pain so I will talk to Rheumy next week about it before we moved to Texas the doctors in Washington said I may need surgery at some point.

I hope they will come up with a better answer, surgery is a last resort for me...I have been dealing with this leg and back pain for 3 yrs and am growing weary.....

Thats all for now I hope everyone is doing ok....

Wow, Carol, I must have been very tired when I replied to you the other day. I meant "Jergens" Self Tanning Cream (not Jegens). The Jergens brand is inexpensive and it makes you feel and look like you have a tan without causing you to go into a flare like being in the sun seems to ignite.

Sorry for the confusing message. I hope you are having a GREAT time and that you get some relaxation time!
Prayers,
Audrey Ann
