Well, I am pregnant. I have to deal with doctors today and set up a bunch of appointments to ensure a healthy baby and pregnancy. Wish me luck.

Congartulations!! I am very happy for you. Hope all goes well with the pregnancy. If it helps any I didn't flare when I was pregnant both times. You will probably need extra rest though. All advanced planning that can be done will be helpful in the long run. What wonderful news and a blessed time for you. Enjoy your miracle - Kristin

Oh Redrose, I'm soooo happy for you!!!!! Good job. I'm a bit envious too because being pregnant and having babies is the most wonderful, fun, rewarding, energizing thing I've ever done.

I wish you all the luck in the world and will be praying for a good healthy pregnancy with a little pink bundle of joy at the end.

Love,

Pat

Rose . . . Use Internet Explorer as your browser to fix your signature. I had a hard time getting mine right when I changed it too. It also took a while for the changes to show up ?????? My normal browser is Firefox, but its hard to do your signature from there. Blessings!

Yup - do signature first in MS Word then paste it into your profile using MS IE as your browser -- that seems to work best on a PC -- don't know how to help if you are on a Mac.

Well this is the third time I'm trying to say congratulations to you RedRose! I keep getting that spam thing. I wish you and your baby a happy and healthy pregnancy and after, and you both will be in my thoughts and prayers and again congratulations. I am so so happy for you.

Thanks everyone. My OB-GYN will see me the 10th of next month but I will likely have blood work and an ultrasound before then. I see high risk consultant the 4th and get started on WIC the 1st, unless a cancellation occurs. I have to call my rheumy tomorrow. The OB doc has a kidney specialist he wants me to see after my first appointment- we were on the same page with that decision. I am excited and scared and shaky. I even found a new PCP who I see next week. I also think I found the pediatrician group we will be seeing, pending a prenatal interview in January. I made calls today to make my husband feel better about this. I am eating a small sugary snack as my blood sugar seems to have bombed. I will let you all know when I find out more.

Thanks. I was only allowed to try for this pregnancy because my lupus is in remission right now. So the big symptoms are from my other health issues and the pregnancy. We know what to expect so this should be easy enough to deal with.

Thanks again. I am so darned happy. Hormones have me tearing up all the time but that just means the hormone levels are good. I hope everyone is okay. I am swamped with classwork and also am tired a lot. I may not be online much for a few months. I have to be careful due to my weak cervix.
