The Discovery Channel will be airing a show focusing on polymyositis on October 15 at 10 p.m. For times, check "Mystery Diagnosis" is the name of the series and the segment will feature a PM patient as well as Dr. Lisa Christopher-Stine, Co-Director of the Johns Hopkins University Myositis Center.

Those of you who have mctd and might be interested in this.

Thanks Patty. They've checked me for this one . . . thankfully the bloodwork was negative and the weakness has cleared. I don't get that channel, but maybe I can catch it online after it airs. Interesting stuff! I'm glad your post wasn't about you having been dx with it. *phewwww*

Check on their web site, you might be able to view the video after it's aired. Also if you have cable tv, try On Demand, it might get lucky and it be in there.
