Hi emerson and welocme. Rosie gave you some really great information and I can't think of anything to add. I just wanted to say that I'll be thinking about
you and hoping that your appointment today goes well. Like Rosie said, a lot of your symptoms fit with lupus, but it's so hard to diagnose.
I don't blame you for feeling scared - I remember being very scared and overwhelmed when the doctor first mentioned lupus to me. Hang in there. It can sometimes take a while to get a definite diagnosis, but the most important thing is to get some kind of treatment for your symptoms. It's good that you have a rheumatologist appointment later this month and hopefully he can help you get to the bottom of your symptoms and give you a diagnosis.
Please ask any questions you have and also know we are here for any support you might need. Being sick can really be hard emotionally. The wonderful thing about
this forum is that you are among people who truly understand what you are going through and we are very supportive of each other.
I hope you'll let us know how your appointment goes.
Take care and I'm glad you joined us.
