Several posts ago you had asked wht the alchol base was in Dr. J's tinctures because you couldn't use certain grains.

I found out today that it is corn.

But remember, basically the alcohol is a pharmaceutical grade (pure alcohol which is so purely alcohol that there is no residue of any grain), so there is no potential for adverse or allergic reactions based upon lower grade alcohols (which are usually only 45% pure alcohol and still contain molecules of the grains used to manufacture it).

Wacko Woman,

Thanks for the info.  Just today after an 8 day lapse in e-mail time Susan Jernigan finally e-mailed me that same info.  Perhaps she was on vacation.

I am still waiting for the book that I ordered a month ago.  They said it was on back order, but I was hoping to read it before I saw the lyme doctor Oct 13.
