Hi Onmyway.  I am sorry you are dealing with this on top of everything else.  I recommend calling the different reputable labs that test for tick-borne diseases and ask if they or a lab they know of can do this testing.

Thanks Ticker I appreciate the input!

It's Ok! I am preying I get a positive on Lyme, Bart and Babesia and it will only help my fight againts Blue Shield of CA! They are saying they only cover 4 weeks of IV infusions!!! I guess they think that takes care of everything! If I can get a positive from the new testing of the adreanl gland then we will know for sure 4 weeks is not enough!!!  I am in the process of fighting BCBS for furthering IV tretment and to Approve my Mepronon This is my second appeal and that was just denied!! I am now apealing to the state of Califonia Managed Health Care!! It is all crap if you ask me!!! It is ridiculous! They would let you *$&%%^% die before they would approve anything!!! Ok I have to stop taliking about htis my blood pressure is gping up!!!!  sad

I really appreciate your advice!!

Thanks,

Onmyway

Hi Onmyway.  I have a suggestion.  Do a search on-line to find out the name and address of your insurance company's CEO.  Write a letter and calmly state your situation.  State things such as your doctor has deemed this treatment medically necessary and it is important to have continuous treatment.  End the letter with "Can you help?"  I would be surprised if you did not get a response.  Send the letter certified mail, return receipt requested.

Hi there,

I also have a adrenal adenoma.  We discovered it about 6 months after my illness had begun.  They have been watching it for the last couple of years.  Mine has not grown.  Let me make a suggestion, do not only test for lyme and co-infections...  Ask them if they can test for candida as well.  Your adrenals are in close proximity to your colon, and if you suffer from systemic candida (which overlap lyme symptoms), it could be possible thats what it is.  Just my 2 cents..  Have you been on antibiotics this last year....???  Did you test positive for Lyme.  I see an llmd and my tests always are cdc negative... The only band thats positive is 23 on the Western Blot which is only reactive to Lyme, so thats good enough for my llmd...  Do you have a lot of water retention? Itchiness?  Weird head and scalp symptoms???  Just wondering..  Please let me know what you come up with....

Jojeanle,

Yes I have theses sores on my scalp all the time! I could not believe it when you said that!! I have at ton of water retention cannot wear my weeding ring, finger size went upp 1-1/2 sizes since i have gotten sick and i have severed facial swelling and mouth droop, eye droop/palsy issue going on all the time! I also get a numb throat and closing in feeling! Not to mention the severe wight i feel like i have gained only around my middle section and it is also like i always have this full feeling high up in my stomach and i have a lot of burping and back flow of saliva! Sorry don't know how else to say it! Basically it comes out of no where!! It drives me crazy!!!

My Adrenal adenoma did nothing for 3 years and then the past year it doubled in size but what he is most concerned with is the density if it or as the report reads houndsfiled unit! It went from 0 to 88 and everything i have read about it says anything over 30HU is no good and that is all I am going to say!! The size of the Arenal Adenoma is by no means large it is on 3cm so no big deal but i guess big enough tot worry about!!

I just want it out! My LLMD told me at my last visit my adrenals were failing and were struggeling. He put me on Herbal Adrenal Supplement but i ma not sure if it has helped or not! I will definitley have them test for candidia as well! No reason why not!!!

I would like to hear more about your scalp issues and if you have candidia that too!! No I was never CDC positve but shy by one band! I also had a lot of indeterminates!

Talk to you soon!

Thanks,

Onmyway

**By he Way thanks KANDINSKY!!!

****Also TICKER great Idea I will work on that 1st thing a.m.!!!! I am so frustrated with the BCBS!!! They are awful a\d need to be brought to there knees!!!

Thank you all!!!!!

My daughter is a patient of Dr CRJ in CT; he suggested that after a possible tonsillectomy that we have the tonsils sent to Clongen Lab to be tested. We've talked to the doctor in charge, and he is very knowledgeable about Lyme. Hope this helps.

From what I am gathering they are related to Yeast!!!!

Maybe someone else will come along who knows more!

I know I get them on and off and they hurt, it hurts to brush my hair, wash it or sometimes even move it!

Take Care,

Onmyway

On my way,

I am not a doctor, but what I have gathered from my own experience, is that deep systemic fungal infections cause the scalp things.  I also have the throat closing issue, feels like there is something grabbing my throat...  I believe we have alot of things in common...... please email me at jojeanle@comast.net and I can tell you further what I've discovered about yeast in relation to these wierd syptoms.......  I have a sneaking suspicion that your adenoma is related to candida........  I am about 100 sure mine is, along with these other symptoms...  I've been doing some other things other than antibiotics, and Ive been going through intense itching (yeast dying off), my grabbing throat sensation is dissapating, but Im also itching there now and breaking out with little bumps on my throat.....  ( I believe the yeast is dying off there too...)  I've had the water rention thing......... but that is subsiding also, and I am not taking antibiotics, just strickly focusing on the fungal issues...........  I look forward to talking with you

Joanne
