Dear firefly16's Mom,
Welcome to the forum! I'm not sure this will help since I am not familiar with your case, but I know that food allergies can cause dark circles under the eyes. Maybe a blood test for food allergies and sensitivities could tell you what foods to avoid. There are also natural practitioners that use muscle testing to test for the food sensitivities. Forgive me if this does not fit your situation, since as I said, I am not familiar with your case.
I am sorry you and your family are dealing with this terrible group of diseases. We wish you all the best. bablymers mom
What you are describing is common with Lyme patients. Whether due to the illness itself or allergy, exhaustion, nutrition, dehydration- related, it is common. During more difficult times they are more pronounced. If you keep a daily journal, you can sometimes pick up on what may facilitate going from a lighter to darker circle.
