Hi Guys: I lately have been having trouble sweating and feel dry and de-hydrated. I used to sauna daily and do not have access to one now. I did however sweat well when exercising or sitting in the sun. Do any of you have trouble sweating? (I DO sweat at night)

Another symptom is when I am trying to read the posts here on the computer, the sentences are moving like "waves" and it is difficult to read. My hand writing is also terrible, anyone have these symptoms as well. I am still trying to figure out which symptoms are from the Lyme. Thanks-  D

I don't know if I have Lyme.

But I have been sweating when I sleep, for no apparent reason, lately.  I don't need to feel hot for these sweats to happen, either.  The sweat also has a slightly "fruity" odor to it..  It's quite unpleasant, waking up with my undershirt all moistened.

I have also been having trouble reading on the computer.  The problem is my eye muscles don't cooperate like they used to.  It makes for choppy reading.. I don't seem to move my eyes smoothly.  It's very hard to describe though..

Hi Dowa,

As we discussed, I absolutely have this symptom as well.    Have you kept a water log to see how much liquid you are taking in versus putting out?  I found it help for me.   On average I have a net deficit of 1 liter every day.   To clarify, if I take in 4 liters, then I put out 5 liters.  I just don't know how the human body can function like that.   I have tracked this for over three months, and day after day, I continue to lose water.   Keeping a water log takes a small amount of discipline, but if you make a print out for the in log and hang it in the kitchen  (add a quick reference chart with the measurements of different glasses and cup that you use) and hang a log in the bathroom...the task becomes easier.    Of course I realize for women the task is more difficult.

Do you have constipation or hard stools?

Do you have to use the bathroom frequently?

Do you drink more then 2.5 liters a day?

Do you have high or low blood pressure?

Do you find that you need to use the bathroom 5-15 minutes after drinking something?

Hi Chris: No constipation, just the opposite if anything;

I usually need a bathroom as soon as I drink something.

My blood pressure is high, crazy high at times.

I have never kept a log of what I drink but it comes out as soon as I drink. Did you ever see a urologist Chris? My endo I saw was a waste of time. Latey, something just feels different, like I am dried up like a prune. However, at night I sweat like crazy.  (:  D

Dowa,

I'm so tired of seeing doctors that have no clue. I did want to see a urologist and/or a nephrologist, but I've seen 2-3 of every other doctor and the common theme is that they run the basic tests and then scoot me out of their office with the "crazy" tag.

I find that I urinate an excessive volume any time I have coffee (I know it's a diuretic, but I never urinated like *this* before.)

And if I have more than 2 drinks of an alcoholic beverage, the need to urinate becomes extreme, even if I only get rid of a small amount, the urge keeps coming back.  It almost feels like a loss of bladder control, in a way.

I get a lot of weird symptoms when drinking alcohol, now, so I avoid the stuff like the plague...

I was sweating like pig! I had a fever every darn day! If I went in the sun for 5 sec. I would get so dizzy and want to puke and faint. My house was like a meat looker at 68 %
I was still sweating. I had trouble wearing clothes..and had to change all of the time for they got wet. My 12 year old is now breaking into sweats in class..
Seeing things...oh yeah, like the walls breathing...waves.....
scary as hell.....
I was seeing black spots...I would jump thinking it was rat..

read my new post...read is asap!

If you had lyme disease you would not want to drink at all. Because one mixed drink would be like drinking a bottle of scotch. and you would be in bed sick for 3 days.

ummm batman. it is easy to find out if you have lyme or not. But it took me 4 years to find out myself....
Call Ignex and tell them that you want a fed ex box, follow the directions....and you will know in about 2-3 weeks. You will have to have a dr. sigh in for you who will get your results. so pic a dr. that is cool.
for 4 years all of my test came back negative...from quest. After reading a lot about this company and their ass. with the CDC I finally get it!
In the mean time people are dying. Don't get me started...lol
Anyways....you need to test for co infections as well. The darn invisible ticks that you never would have seen of even moscito, could give you up to 9 different things in one darn bite.
so...you could have many thins and not know it. if you have any questions you can ask me direct. It makes me feel better to help other people.
I am now perfectly great for the first time in 4 years. look at my new post....I am so happy but still can not believe that it was this easy

oh cris...many people say this same thing...I cannot remember which co infection causes this bladder problem....hmmm....think it is babeosis...but many say lyme too.
I don't drink anything but water...bottled like 5 gallons a week. so maybe that is why.
But I love coffee too...but be careful with it. It is the worst thing for you.
And if you are dhydrated..all the water will not help you.
easy fix it to get a iv bag...and get hooked up. but are you dizzy? like if you move your head you spin...or even blinking???
