So, everywhere I read describes a herx as fever, chills, fatigue and aches and pains. It is limited to this? Also, can a herx be very mild? If it is, what does that mean?

I was feeling fantastic for a few days - I have been getting less sleep and now I feel tingly - like my skin is crawling. My time of the month is here and I am not sure if I am having a very mild herx or who know what... This is my only symptom. I am on day 42 of 400mg of Doxy.

I don't think a herx is limited to ever, chills, fatigue and aches and pains. My herxes have been a multitude of symptoms, including skin crawling so I definitely think you could be herxing.

Hi baileygirl76.  Although most people herx, not everyone does.  Herxes affect people individually.  You can have an increase in existing symptoms or you can get new symptoms.  Many women experience symptom intensification during their cycles.

Make sure you are documenting your symptoms daily.  Over time this really helps to show when your herxes occur and how you are responding to the meds.  Many people who have Lyme experience crawling sensations.
