Marie- that is awesome.

I am going to the gym everyday and doing 20 minutes walking on the treadmill. Forcing myself even when I don't want to.

Can't wait until I can post about my first race back. I am hoping a 5k in the spring

Violets, you've always been a great inspiration here.

Hey J .How has working out been coming along for you?

I started a 10 week fitness shallenge today. I'm going to try to build more muscle and lower my body fat. It's a huge commitment cause I will need to get to the gym 3-4 days a week.

Keep up the good work

I just started up again. IV rocephin knocked me down pretty good. I am still coming out of a herx that was incredible fatigue. Like mono - I was basically bedridden for a week.

My MD was happy - he says it means we are killing a bunch. My plan is just to do light cardio by walking or riding a stationary bike until I get into remission then after the doctors ok start slowly jogging again.

jginkc-I just wanted to let you know that after I had been on Rocephin through the winter and spring I ran a 5K in June of this year. I am not sure how I did it but I guess sheer determination. I hope to run the same one next summer. Good luck with your treatment and I had incredible fatigue in the beginning of my Rocephin treatment too!

Kim -that's good to hear that you felt up to running a 5k. I haven't been able to run further than a mile since getting sick.

How long did your fatigue last?

jginkc-The fatigue from the Rocephin lasted about 2 -3 weeks but really bad only the first week. Then I started to slowly feel better. I still have constant chronic fatigue from the Lyme but when I was on Rocephin the fatigue went away by like 80 percent. Now it is back again which is I why I want another go on IV. Take care!
