Well, after 2 years on abx, I am finally off.  Feeling pretty good, however, I went for a final blood test-my liver enzymes were high! I never had a problem before..now, after weaning off and off completely for 2 weeks, they are (moderately) high.

Anyone have a similar experience, and any suggestions...I restarted my milk thistle. I only take garlic, resveratrol and fish oil now, I don't think they could be bothering my liver.

Hi beths.  I believe that Lyme can cause elevated liver enzymes.  It is good you are taking Milk Thistle.  You may want to continue it for some time.  Make sure your doctor knows you are taking it.  When will you be tested again?

My enzymes have always been fine-all during the time I was sick. My LLMD told me to restart the milk thistle-I recheck in 2 weeks. Trying not to freak out..always something with this disease.
