kendal-I just had the co-infection panel done again at Igenex but still haven't received the results yet. I did test pos for Bart from Igenex in June 2007. Why do you want to change labs? Have you heard they are better at detecting co-infections..just curious

I have had Fry do my blood smear twice and came back with two different results. Dont know what that means exactly.  First showed bart and second showed ehrlichia.

Thanks kendal-I don't think Dr. D likes using Fry but not sure why. we talked about it once and it didn't seem as though he was impressed with them.

Hi Kendal.  I am not very familiar with Fry Lab, so I don't know how reliable they are.  Maybe others can post about their experience with them.

Sometimes people test negative for co-infections initially and postive later on.  One reason may be that the bacterial load was not high enough when the person was first tested.
