Hi Guys: I was wondering how many of you have abnormally low body temperature. Mine at times is 96 and I am unable to get warm, other days I am too hot. Is there something in Lyme that affects your body temp or inability to keep it normal? Thanks   D

hi.. i definitely think if affects body temp... my "normal" body temp has lowered significantly.. even when i feel extremely hot and feverish, i am 98 degrees... at my worst, i was in the 95 range and normal now seems to be 96 ish degrees

Thanks Hezzer: Did you treat the Lyme with antibiotics and did it make a difference in your temp?

My temperature is also lower than normal. It used to be around 96.5 but increased to 97.5 after I chelated my heavy metals. Whenever it gets over 98, I feel feverish.

I think these infections thrive in the lower temperature or something. Almost everyone I know with lyme has a low body temperature.

I actually have a higher body temp all the time.  Usually it is 98 - 99.6 - that is my range. No one else in my family has lyme but my husband has a really low body temp and my oldest daughter is like me - a little higher. My youngest is pretty much always 98.6.
