Hi guys. I go back to my LLMD in two wks, yet to be dx. I feel like I am getting worse. Last night when I went to sit down my pelvic bone popped out of place. So I tested it and stood up, then sat down, stood up, sat down (about 10 times) each time-click, click, click. My shoulders cracking several times when I roll over at night. The pains are getting deep, etc...
My LLMD tested me for co infections so I should have those results by the time I see her. I hope she dx me so I can go on meds.
Due to my variety of symptoms, I really believe I have lyme, lupus or SOME form of bacteria. Now my question is wouldnt the meds that I would be put on for lyme help possible other bacteria in my body?

Hi king1234.  I am sorry you are having so many symptoms.

Not all antibiotics work for all bacteria.  If you are asking specifically about co-infections, some of the antibiotics for co-infections may be effective for Lyme also.  I say may because what may work for some cases, may not work for others.  Babesiosis is similar to malaria and needs to be treated with an anti-malarial and antibiotic combination.

Good luck at your upcoming appointment!  Let us know how it goes okay?
