I have been with Blue Cross Blue Shield of FL for the last 2 years and they have covered everything for the entire family as far as drugs, IVs, etc. They have been great to say the least. Not a single claim was ever denied. My company is dropping them due to increased costs and are considering United Healthcare as an alternative. This is all under a group plan. Can anyone comment on their experience with United or any other group plan that has been good to work with? I know someone with LD and United under a individual plan and United denied virtually all claims. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jon ~

I had Oxford for a long time which is a United Healthcare company. They were okay on covering oral meds (although my copays quite high). I had no IV meds covered or anything alternative.

I had UHC briefly and hated it. I could never get ahold of the customer service people. They didn't cover anything except regular MD visits (no alternative medicine practioners) and I had a $30 copay on prescriptions (oral - don't know if they covered IV or not).
