jennie48-
this is so normal. your body is telling you something and you have to listen. My suggestion is to find something you like to do while you are resting to help spend the time. I wouldn't suggest anything with sharp points like sewing or anything hot like using a glue gun!!! (I have scars to prove my point!!) Reading books were a challenge for me because I could not follow the story line, as I always got lost on the characters, but i did find looking at books with lots of photos gradifying. Do you play video games? My neurologist told me it was the best thing for me. The easy ones like mario were what I started with. It helps with hand eye coordination and memory recall. there are also free games on the interent to help too.

In the beginning (the first 2-3 years) I slept almost non-stop. I was constantly fatgued and tired. Now, I'm fatigued and tired and have insomnia... I have to knock myself out to get some sleep. I'm so fatigued and can't get any rest. I just hate the domino effect of not getting sleep, taking extra pills to get to sleep.... having the pills not work.... walking around like a zombie and then by the 3rd or 4th day I drop... I drop for 24 hours straight.
