charcoal for detox

I have a friend that tells me I should try this. It kind of freaks me out. Any try this? We grill with charcoal, not

eat it. I'll think about it after I read some of your opinions.

I only know about activated carbon to detox when suffering under food poisoning.

seeingstars - may be there is a lot to learn from your friend; your posting made me so curious that I googled it at wikipedia; it seems, it can be used....( at least if there is no additonal chemical stuff on it, I would say) I am really speachless now!! wow!! I take healing earth for detoxing.

Imagine that at a barbecue party, serving steaks with charcoals - it really does freak me out too.
