wow I have seen this word so many times and yet because I did not think that I had it I decided that I would not look into it. Well wake up. In short it causes fatique and chest pains and shortness of breath. And well with Lyme you would hardly notice these symptoms. And it is a tricky thing to find after years of looking and searching, four years to be exact. But it did a good job of hiding in my blood. But was recently photographed hanging out rather close with my red blood cells. That tramp.
It was most common in Peru, guess I picked it up in my garden in Martha's Vineyard. Lucky me. Cat scratch fever is related. No offense but I do not like cats. But since the ticks and fleas pass it on. Well I know who gave it to me. The tick in my garden who also gave me lyme disease. This may explain my daughters chest pains who keeps testing negative for lyme. On ward and forward. I do not like the fact that it can cause heart attack. But I think that I have done enough reading about it for the night. Thanks Dr.
I red that amoxy does not kill it. And that Qunorlonees or choran kills it. Have never heard of them up to to night. But for those of you who are having trouble finding answer to the chest pains, have your blood photographed. I had it done through Envita in Scottsdale Az. and they sent it to a local lab here. It came back complete with the actual photographs of the disease. It can cause neurological problems as well. But frankly I have so many of those from lyme it is hard to tell....Please fill me in on your findings....good news welcome.

Yes I think so. It is here in AZ. They say at Envita that they prefer Ignenex, but that FYI is good at finding things with his microscope.

Gosh, I'm so sorry you have to deal with this too.

My doctor's office called me to have me come back in for tests results.

NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT!

I am a dork...I found the post 5 miles long about Bart. I am on a different meds from what I see up there. My Dr. gave me Levaquin and will give me something else Monday. I don't remember what it is called. But since I will be sitting there for 6 hours...I will write it down...lol.
That is all anyone talks about at the clinic. Getting a persons immune system back on track so that it can defend itself. There is a bit of concern about taking Vit. D, but I was given the drops that you put under your tongue. And was also told to sit in the sun 15 minutes a day without sun screen. Easy to do that here in AZ.
The main drug that they use here to treat all of this diseases is colliodal silver. I am given that every single day.

hey girl...
they told me that I did not have bart..but then they told me that I did with the photos of it up next to my red blood cell...odd it looked like a dot. but I don't know what kind of bart. do you?
I was finally explained how to read the blood test. Did you get your labs done at fry too?
They told me that they think IGENEX is the best and most sensitive. But they did find the Bart for me. So that was a first. I walked in and told him that I found it hard to believe that I only got lyme...and he said..well......so I was not suprised. It explains the chest pains and all of that stuff.

"They told me I did not have Bart, but then I did.." My case scenario exactly, it is my honest opinion that no one has a clue. Why does one test say no, and the next one say yes. I had the photo test done twice with two competely different results. So, I still dont know what the heck I am fighting. Anr neither do they. If Envita says Igenex is better than why use Dr. Fry in the first place??

They use Fry to get the microscopic photos. That is the only way that the saw the Bart. When you look at it in the photo it was not all over the place. So the fact that a simple blood test could miss a dot is somewhat understandable...no?
But IGENEX did not find any co-infections on two rounds.
So....from one lab to another...:>)
Did you get put on the Levaquin 500 mg? wow man..it is a tough drug on the stomach. darn! I really prefer the port therapy! These abx are the worst on the stomach! Gezzzzzz.
I can't stand up straight. The cramps are unbelievable.
How are you getting all of your meds? A IV? And if so, how do you handle that daily? Isn't it painful and hard with a needle in your arm? I don't understand why they do not just pop this in my port. This lyme seems to be more like a virus than bacteria. I mean it goes away or stops reproduction while on the heavy drugs
but then when I stop the meds..it comes back. I keep hearing about remission on this site. I mean they make it sound like cancer. It is all very odd. Or maybe is goes into hiding for a while, but then....one good car accident and whammo.
Actually that is how most of the people found out that they had lyme here, they had something really bad happen and then they were hit hard with it.
Buy the majority are here because of week immune systems due to cancer treatment and they get here to find out that they also have lyme.
It is all very interesting.
I think that this is all going to be resolved soon. It is getting ready to blow right open.
I wonder if they have a problem with this in the Orient. Japan, they were the ones who were using it for war after world war two. I wonder what their treatment is?
