My neck pops when I move my head to the left or sometimes when I move it forward.

My throat thumps when I swallow. Had it checked by ultrasound, by and ENT and a gastro whatever. All normal.

My pinkies get stuck in straight position...

My shoulder pops and crunches. My knee does too.

DOES ANY KNOWN TREATMENT FIX THESE ISSUES?

Very annoying.

I know what you mean.

My two pinky fingers are so stiff, they don't bend. Cortisone did NOT help.

Oh well. Paquinil may be next for me. Have you tried it?

My joints dont feel stiff, they just crack non stop. Its too the point they grind and pop out of socket. Sometimes the same joint cracks 5 times back to back in 30 seconds. I have been taking fish oil and gluc. This one one of my first syptoms right after all the stabbing pains started...

I wrote this once in another post (so forgive me if I'm repeating myself - haha), but for about 2 years prior to LD, my joints used to pop and crack so loudly that I once had someone at work ask me "What is that noise".... and I had so say, "ummm, It's me."

And, I have always been able to pop my shoulders in and out while in bed. I'll be sleeping on my side and it just slips right out of the socket, and then right back in. I have Ehlers Danlos but just the very mild kind which is a kind of hyper-extension. Itstead of standing and touching my toes, I can touch the floor with my hands and walk on my hands backwards between my leg (I know toooo much information)... anyway I can do all kinds of wierdo stuff with my fingers and am somewhat ambidextrous.... very wierd, all of it.

My RA (the nice one) and my LLDr. said I was a "perfect host" for Lyme disease. I also was an ear infection baby (family lore is that I have always snored like a sailor and still do) and had my tonsils and adnoids removed.... and I had a few bad strep infections... all of which adds to being somewhat immune depressed and my joints were primed to be slightly suseptable to arthritic conditions... and then WHAMO I get Lyme disease. It really hit my knees hard and my hips. I cannot do a deep knee bend at all. I can hardly get up and down a few stairs.

Lyme disease.... still sucking after all these years............

Wow! I looked into Elhers but I am not THAT flexible. My joints are awful though. Somedays are MUCH worse than others.

A little basset hound, he is 8 wks old-all wrinkles and long big ears. Just a ton of work and not a lot of sleep for me which is bad!

I went to get a massage today and the woman noticed how loose my shoulders are because they kept popping out of place and grinding. Wonder if it could be my thryoid causing this....

My shoulders are also very loose and they pop out, my thyroid is fine. I really cant figure out what causes so many of us to have the popping, crackling joints.  D

I guess the Lyme disease does. That professor from UC - davis sent me his research paper on the mice who had LD. They treated them with doxy and then analyzed some of their muscle tissue.

This is gross but the picture of the tissue under the scope showed some places where I suppose the Lyme Disease lived.

That picture makes me wonder about what the @#$% is going on in my shoulders, neck, sinuses, knees, hips, toes and two pinkies.

Instead of cortisone shots, why can't they just shoot an antibiotic in there. That way it's killed -- for a while at least!

LOL yes, its such a basset name. Wish I could post pics here, you guys would laugh-all wrinkles and ears right now.

My joints bother me a lot, some days they crack more than others. Some days they literally crack 150 plus times a day. I NEVER had this issue till the pains started 5 months back.

It may be related to buying a puppy and being pulled in all different directions for a years, bending over to wipe up "puddles", trying to move 50 lb. bags of kibble, etc. rolleyes turn rolleyes
