Are sore calves a common complaint of lyme disease sufferers? Mainly the top of my calves have been sore lately. Anyone else?

They told me at the clinic I was going to that toxins will settle in your calve muscels (also your back). So, I would think it could be a Lyme symptom without doubt. Try to walk often and "move" things around in there. D

This is a common symptom for me. it comes and goes. I do 3 cups of epsom salts and 1 bottle of hydrogen peroxide in a hot/warm bath and soak for 15-20 minutes, it helps a lot.

My calves have been one of the worst symptoms of my Lyme. It feels as if they have been pumped up with fluid or something that creates the feeling of them under pressure (along with my forearms). I constantly have to roll my ankles around to crack all the ligaments (and whatever else cracks in there) to feel a bit of relief. The discomfort never goes away for me.

Aaron K - If you are taking Lyrica and/or Levaquin, this may a part of the problem. If so, talk to LLDr. asap... to see if you need to adjust your meds.
I have had minimal calf pain using Levaquin. But, it's still a new symptom for me. After 8 years, I'm still getting "new" symptoms.... it just never ends.
