Was wondering if anyone out there has these symptoms.

Dry eyes
Floaters - black fuzzy ones
Swirling circles and a few occasional flashers.
Eye pain -- around eye and it sort of hurt to blink.
Photophobia -- that's medical talk for light sensitivity particularly sunshine.

Am I herxing, is this lyme or one of its nice friends?

Thanks guys!

Signed,
Where is the cure? I'm hoping for one.

Hi HTFC, I have loads of black fuzzy and 'wriggly' shaped floaters & also the flashers & photophobia, it's getting worse & I think it's connected to the Lyme - don't the spirochaetes like to live in eyeballs? The black floaters are slowly turning into moving holes in my vision as they grow.

Hi

I have not been dx with lyme or lupus as of yet (appt. with rhumey tomorrow)- ANA positive and I have a lot issues that fit more under lyme than lupus (muscle twitches etc).  I have been dx with fibro. Nevertheless, I have been experiencing eye pain for the past week, dry eyes and floaters too.

Hope: I have ALL of the above along with burning and very bloodshot eyes. I was diagnosed with optic neuritis in 2005. All I can tell you is it is not a herx as I am not taking medication and never have. As far as co-infections, Fry says I have Erlichia and Bart, if you can believe them. (:   D

My daughter has the floaters. And now wears shades all of the time. The photosensitivity is a common thing with lyme. And most likely is worse when you have a headache.
The three of us are like vampires. The sun just hurts.
I use to see black spots moving. Like big rats running across the floor. This has finally stopped. I use to scream and hold my feet up. It really concerned my friends...lol

Dowa....what do you mean that you are not taking any medication????? I know we have spoken many times....but what are you doing for yourself???? remind me...lol
dumb blond here...hey that excuse works for me...:>)

Marie: I do not take antibiotics due to the mold poisoning, remember? I did a 14 month detox at EHC with sauna and IV , then did 40 hyperbaric oxygen chamber sessions. I have never done antibiotics as they are contraindicated in fungal problems. That is the reason I had asked Envita about antibiotics because I was afraid to take them. I have a high tricothecene level which indicates mycotoxicosis (mold poisoning). Antibiotics will make that condition worse. That is the reason I was thinking about seeing Dr. S in Maryland because he works with both, you familiar with his protocal??   D

I have very dry eyes which are normally blood shot and sensitive to light but I take 100mg of hyaluronic acid which helps them - a lot! Bb live in the colagen and HA replaces it. Be sure to buy a good brand that is not just chicken sternum or rooster comb. You should feel a big difference in less than a week.

I have all of these eye symptoms. Dryness, burning, redness, occasional flashers at night, black fuzzy things moving in periphery etc. I also have blurry vision sometimes and if I am to watch tv, I have to sit right in front of it. I wear contact lenses and never used to use lubricating drops until this caused me to have two corneal abrasions. I ran from doc to doc and finally diagnosed myself with Ocular rosacea. I personally think the Lyme and friends caused this; kind of like an autoimmune thing. Refresh celluvisc drops are very soothing when my eyes are very dry, red and burning.

Dowa--I tried making an apt. with Dr. S. in July and they told me he stopped seeing new patients. I tried Dr. C. in his office twice and while I was in the waiting room the last time, a new patient came in for Dr. S. So maybe he is being selective-I don't know.

I got about half way through Mold Warriors and lent it to a friend and never got it back.

Minx: I had not heard that about Dr. S is not taking new patients, wow. You mentioned Dr. C, I dont know who that is, does Dr. S have someone else working with him in the office??

Thanks D

Yes. Dr. C. is renting space in Dr. S's office. If you wanted an apt. with Dr. S, it does not hurt to try. Things may have changed, you never know.

HopingtoFindCure:

I get dry itchy eyes. I don't get the floaters tho. When they get so bad I use

Sulfacetamide Sodium Opthalmic Solution USP, 10%. It's an eyedrop

that is abx but it's a $4 drug at walmart if you can get a prescrip.

I have seen white swirly dots for 10yrs  I see it more when I look at the sky or a white wall, or outside. This started around the same time I started to get dizzy spells, ice pick headahes and migraines w auras.

For the past months I have had a right sided eye pain--like a pressure that comes and goes.

I also see visual snow in the evening, its like what I see is not a clear picture but a tad fuzzy like when a tv screen is not 100% clear.
