If it's Quest it's done one way and if it's Labcorp it's done another way. Which lab did you use and what's your number? Mine is a big ol' "3"... but it was done by whichever lab uses a percentage instead of best of 1-100.

Anyone? I can't seem to find this anywhere. I asked for the paperwork to be mailed to me but my doc is out until Monday... LabCorp won't even tell me the reference range over the phone. Jerks.

Since it is so low "5", it's probably a precentage. A percentage of "what" I don't know. Make the doctor who ordered the test answer your questions for you.... or you may want to try the LabCorp website...... hope this helps.

They told me it was a %.  I have no clue. I checked LabCorp website and could find nothing on the test.  I guess I will just have to wait.  I hate waiting.

If you have a Labcorp results report you should probably have the two following lines from a CD57 test:

%CD8-/CD57+ Lymphs  -%      2-17  (normal range)

Abs.CD8-CD57+ Lymphs -/uL     60-360 (normal range)

The "-" is what your specific numbers are.  The bottom number (the Abs (Absolute) number) is generally what is tracked.  Under 60 is low.  The % number you mention 5% is in the normal range but the other number is often whats referred to in Lyme testing.

Many LLMDs no longer place a significant emphasis on CD-57 - the correlation has still not been firmly established.

Hope this helps.
