Hi guys!! for the last 2 years i've been suffering with ms symptoms,my dr has done many tests mri's blood tests etc...But have all came back clear..

The symptoms i have been getting is numbness in my arms and legs, and anxiety which symptoms that come and go,.

My dr now thinks it may be anxiety disorder causing my numbness,

The strange thing is with my smyptoms is, when i have the numbness i dont seem to have any anxiety, then when i start having days with bad anxiety,my numbness is almost gone,i dont really have them both at the same time..

What is anyone opinions on this?  could it be lyme..

i have had a test done at igenex, but it came back clear..

Thanks for your help

Hi grace, The tests i had done was igG and igM western blot, and PCR..

SYMPTOMS FROM THE LIST I HAVE ARE

Tingling, numbness, burning or stabbing sensations, shooting pains

Exaggerated symptoms or worse hangover from alcohol next day

Twitching of the face or other muscles

And anxiety

My numbness almost goes when i have hot bath or shower then slowly comes back.

Also my numbess seen to almost go if i drink a small ammount of alcohol.. which seems strange..

Maybe it is anxiety related, not sure

a hot bath and alcohol both cause vasodilation, or opening of your blood vessels, which might be why you do not have the numbness as badly in those conditions.
do you have back pain? have you had your spinal cord checked out?

Hi gracietiger, No i dont have any back pain.

I had a mri scan done on my brain, lumber spine, and cervical spine, the only thing they found wrong is some of my discs are slightly worn in the lumber region. though no compression..

I would suggest you read up on bartonella. And beware that tests for Tick Born Illnesses are not very reliable. Too many strands and the tests only cover a small %. Find an llmd.
