My LLMD just added 32,000 mg of vitamin C daily to take along with 400 mg of doxy and 1000 mg of biaxin.  Is this strange.  Has anyone had success with vitamin c

I did mine in a IV, 32,000 mg  orallywill cause you to have diarrhea I would expect. I did 30 grams twice a week in a IV and felt really good. Its a really good de-toxifier.  D

I was crowned Empress of The Kingdom of Flatulato when I took only 12000mg a day.

Once you hit your own personal bowel tolerance limit though you're not absorbing any more C anyway, so there's no point in exceeding that.

Sulma....hahahah! Funny

Sinve Vic C is water soluable, the body will extract the overload. I think too much of anything is not great. Vit c is a wonderful addition for everyone, sick or not sick.

I am supposed to work up to about 15,000mg a day but can only tolerate about half that much before getting diarrhea. I am also taking Cat's claw, 3000mg magnesium, zinc and multi vitamin (natural). It seems to be helping.

Dowa, was that an ND that did that for you? I'd love to regularly get those Vit C infusions.

Sulma: No, it was an MD. I know a few that do it. If you find a doctor that is into environmental medicine (they are normally allergists or toxicologists) they will do it for you. D
