Muscle cramps are often caused by dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, or calcium or magnesium deficiency, even in the setting of Lyme Disease. Eye problems - has he been tested for allergies? Allergic conjunctivitis can mimic pink eye, but won't respond to antibiotics. Also could be viral eye infection (my Husband gets those...usually causes styes for him). Yes, this could be Lyme too. A Naturopathic Physician may be able to put all the pieces together better than most regular MD's, and they tend to be more aware of the unusual allergy and infectious presentations that can occur.
Good luck & take care,
