I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with treating the scratch marks to ease the discomfort?

Hi Grammalee,

Heth just had two whoppers join our conversation this evening at bedtime.  Down the thigh (hadn't seen those for awhile) and long, skinny, owie.  Started w/a burning sensation, then a dot matrix that came to full blown streaks about 10" long w/in minutes.  Hers do hurt and burn.  I use a combo of emu oil and arnica montana cream.  Blending them cuts down on the burning that arnica alone may cause; but helps soothe quickly.  They settled w/in minutes in terms of what she 'felt'.

Sorry that you are dealing with this, too.

Blessings,  Sojourner
