Hi all, I know- been a while. Life is super crazy- and we have all (but Caitlyn) taken a hit for the worse.
Just a quick ? for now.... My liver enzymes keep coming up elevated- doubling in fact, each time, i am increasing my dosages of Milk thistle, but am getting concerned.

Any reasons why?-
how much milk thistle do you guys take?

Wil ltry to follow up with a little update from all of us soon.

Miss everyone!

Hi There!

I also have elevated liver enzymes and ammonia levels. In addition to milk thistle, I also take Glutathione and Alpha-Lipoic Acid supplements. Also, Lactulose for the ammonia.

Good luck!

Hi Married...! My liver enzymes were elevated when I was on antibiotics and artemisinin (had kidney issues too). Had to stop all the drugs and go all natural. The naturopath gave me things to support my organs and my tests eventually returned to normal, but it took quite a few months. One of the natural supplements was a form of milk thistle but it's been so long now that I don't remember. Something is stressing your liver and your tests prove it is being overworked. Maybe a good naturopath could help you like mine did.
Best wishes. bablymers mom
