steroid cream

In addition to Lyme, I have eczema on my left foot (off and on for 3-4 years).  I typically could relieve the symptoms with a steroid-based cream (triamclinolone).  I know Lymies are to stay away from steroids, does that include these types of creams?  Has anyone had a negative experience from using these types of creams while having Lyme?

Brad - I have used steroid cream on my arm thingies (lesions, papules???? - whatever it is) and have had no adverse reaction. I think it's the stronger prescription steroid medications that we have to be VERY careful about. I had an evil Rheumy who blew away my immune system with over 21 different steroid type medications for a clinical diagnosis of RA.... I had no positive RA tests, he made a "clinical" judgement.... amazing how this technique does not work with LD. I had a positive LD test and presented with almost all of the LD symptoms.... and no one would believe the results and treat me for LD.
