Gracie's Mom-

I just looked at your photos on photobucket. I have "splotches" similar to Gracie's on my arms, legs and stomach. My doctor called it "livedo". Mine are a bit lighter and the lightest parts are white. My endo and I thought they were vitiligo, since I have a couple of other autoimmune diseases. LLMD says not. He said we all have this, but mine is heavy. Gracie's looks very bad.

What does your doc say this is from? Has Gracie's stayed the same over time? (Mine had gotten worse)

~Kitty

Bablymers-

Thanks for the link. There is also a great news interviwe 20 minutes long on the same page. It is very good.

Hi Gracie's Mom!! Thanks for asking how we are doing. We are still "hangin in there", and still doing the all natural route. Two of our docs are in the bay area, and my sister is up there too---so it would be a great place for us to meet you and your family since we are familiar with the drive. Teenlymer (and mom, dad) would be ecstatic if she could meet all of you!! That would be so awesome! I will keep that goal in my prayers.
Thanks for the kind words about teenlymer. She has also Really enjoyed "talking" on the computer with Gracie. You guys are our continual inspiration!!

Take care and say Hi to all!

Gracie's Mom-

Thnanks so much for that link and info. My doctor did many tests for coagulopathies and APS. I have a slighly long PTT (bleeding time), but the APS and other tests were negative. During my first appt, I was wearing short sleeves and he just kept staring at my arms. I was a little weirded out at first, but now I know why he was so interested. He is a Rheumoatologist who studied Lyme at NIH.

I am glad I have one more sign of having Lyme. I had the bulls eye rash 14 years ago. Was first tested after 3 years and have never had a positive serology. My doc will retest me after a few months of oral antibiotics.

I am going to print out the article to show my doctor.

Thanks again,
kitty
