I can't seem to get rid of the pins and needles feeling in both my arms and hands. It's been on and off for the past week. I had blood work and recent EKG, so I guess cardiac is ruled out, so I'm thinking it could be Lyme.

The only thing is, I notice it tingles as well as has a feeling of tightness when I grab my elbow. It's like this on both arms.

Does anyone get anything like this?

Hey Bella,

I get this in my legs, pelvic area and across my shoulder blades.  Very common for me and I've been tested for what seems EVERYTHING...lyme is the only thing for which I tested positive.

Are you taking any meds at the moment?

Well i must say. Before i treated lyme, babs and bart with heavy long term antibiotics I went to the emergeny room almost 25 times, thinking i was having a heart attack. Then i thought i had lymphoma, then i thought i had multiple sclerosis, then i swore my heart wasn't working, then i thought my liver was on it's way out.

I don't think the rapid heart beats, panic, palpitations, body tingling etc are going to go away until you tackle this more aggressively. Herbs do have their place but sometimes they are just not enough.

Judy - I'm on the Zhang protocol right now.

Phsinvent - I agree. I wish I knew what to add to make this go away. A lot of the symptoms I can handle, but any that point to my heart, I just freak out. I have a family history of it, so I think that makes me panic more.

Bella, symtoms are signs to us that we are sick and we need to take care of ourselves, it is not if we can handle this or not, werent you seeing 2 LLMD"s? Just start any antibiotic and go from there, I have seen your posts and have been suffering for a while, I also had palps and its very scary, I really feel bad for you, but you must help yourself

Judy,

I did see 2 LLMD's, who has vastly different approaches. One wanted me on abx, which I wasn't able to handle anymore. The other thought I was ok, just had "residual inflammation". It's definitely not just residual inflammation, but I'm not one of those that believes that abx are always the answer.

In my case, I have allergies to many medications, as well as other bad side effects. Before I got Lyme, I never really had a need for abx, so I am just finding these things out as I go along.

Not that Zhang is without side effects, but what I was experiencing while on abx was much more severe.

Hi,

I get tingling in my feet. Walking seems to wake it up so to speak.

Trying not to worry about it I guess, along with all the other various symptoms.

Hi Judy,

No I've never tried antibiotic shots. The only one I knew of was Bicillin and I can't take that because I am allergic to Penicillin. If there are others, please let me know, I just haven't heard of anything besides that.

To a degree, I researched this topic.  Various antibiotics can be given as shots, but due to their half life, they would need to be given every day.  Because of that, most of these are made for IV use only.
