2009 the year I plan on getting my life back. I may always have pain in my knees and neck, but I want to be out in the sun, painting my pictures and participating in a life... my life. I want to become a LD advocate for change. This is my goal and I think I'm ready. I am no longer constantly fatigued or overwhelmed by the constant symtomatic changes... my brain is coming back little by little. My biggest fear is relapse. I got well once for approx. 7 months and relapsed, then I had a herx reaction and thought I was cured and then I relapsed.... so this is round 3 for me.
This site (which means you guys!) has been a life saver for me. Thanks for putting up with all my cuss words and sarcasm for the past 15 months.... however, in the future, I may entertain you with colorful language - if warranted by changing medical circumstances!
This is the time for me, I don't want to let it pass me by. Best of health to everyone in this New Year!
Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Meade
